The Life and Times of Abraham Blish, 1616-1683, is a 568 page novel that takes place in Barnstable, Massachusetts during the time of the Pilgrims. Read the true life story of Abraham Blish, a wealthy, well educated young man from Devonshire County England. He sailed to Boston in 1637 after receiving his inheritance. There he met his friend Richard More, who was a passenger on the Mayflower. Richard was granted land in Duxbury, MA and settled there in 1635 and invited Abraham to join him. Abraham was a founding father of Barnstable and built his house there in 1640. Read about their trials and tribulations and the history of ordinary men who lived in the early days of our country. Some of them could be your relatives.
